YesSo you think a 48 year old retired football player who was tight end without any superbowl titles would easily beat the greatest NBA Basketball player of all time and has 6 championships?

That's funny, I'm just glad we aren't the 6ers who haven't been over .500 in the last 10 years.I'm just glad we arent LA and grabbed 3 average players over the last 3 years.

Maybe it's just me, but winning two out of three Titles chances in the last 10 years seems way better!
It's the weather in California man - people over their hate championship titlesThat's funny, I'm just glad we aren't the 6ers who haven't been over .500 in the last 10 years.

Because when you collect talent you can trade them away for talent. When you draft for need your chance of selecting a bust goes up. Id didnt work with Noel or Okafor but the Sixers had them ranked higher on their boards then the other players. Luckily it looks like they got great value getting Saric who was a mid first round pick and better then anyone on the Lakers. Then they hit big time on Embiid who the Lakers could only dream of having and hopefully Simmons turns out to be a stud too. I'm just glad we arent LA and grabbed 3 average players over the last 3 years.

Huh. No shit. We've sucked since we swept you in the 83 finals. I'm talking about TODAY.
ok...
as of TODAY neither team is in the playoffs. but DO continue trying to bag on the Lakers and their "average" draft picks...
I stopped taking him seriously after he said Saric was better than anyone on the Lakers.
I mean, there's being a homer and there's being a moron....

i think Dario's a good player, but yeah, that's going a bit far imo...
Here is a thought:
Since Lavar insists that he and his son will deal with no one but the Lakers, wouldn't the smart thing to do is draft someone else or gather other assets with the #2 pick, and then try to trade for Lonzo for 50 cents on the dollar when Lavar throws a huge media fit and does not allow his son to sign or go to camp for whomever drafts him?
It is risky but it worked for Manning in the whole Manning/Rivers fiasco.
Umm, if you were talking about TODAY then you wouldn't have said "over the last 3 years".Huh. No shit. We've sucked since we swept you in the 83 finals. I'm talking about TODAY.

Just admit it, you were trying to take a jab at Lakers fans, and it backfired on you. If you are going to take jabs, learn to roll with the punches and take the jabs that come back, instead of crying & lying about it in response. It's a bad look brother, a bad look indeed.
We all know 'this guy'. We've played in pick-up games with him at the gym or park, we have all worked with 'that guy' one time or another, you know, the trash talker with his mouth open all the time telling all who will listen about the granders of his life.I heard Lavar talk about Lonzo only working out for the Lakers in an interview yesterday. He was asked what would happen if the Celtics, despite not getting a workout with Lonzo, decided to draft him anyway?
The question seemed to confuse him for a second. Then he said that if a team was willing to draft Lonzo without working him out, he'd play for that team. He said Lonzo just wants be in the NBA.
Then he ranted some more about Lonzo playing for the Lakers and "speaking it into existence."
