Im not sure anyone has an elite defense. Steelers and Chargers are probably in the good territory but it might be a push with the remaining teams.

I'll probably root for the Eagles if the Chiefs fall apart because I like the Kelces. KC seems like the biggest variable as they've been the most consistent but man, they're also a hot mess.
Yeah those look like the top defenses for sure, with maybe Eagles, Broncos, and Vikings just behind.

No
What the league wants, the league gets
What does the league want besides money? And what conspiratorial bullshit are you suggesting they will do to get more of it?

Chiefs are 5th lowest in penalties per game this year. Its probably an advantage against Baltimore who commits the most penalties and the Texans who commit the 3rd most.

Its one of two things with the Chiefs. If they continue to play like they do, they'll drop 4 of their next 5 and do what the Eagles did last year. If some healthy players come back and fix some gaping holes on their teams then they're a contender right there with Baltimore.

Lions are 5-1 in one possession games. Even though they are the best team lets not pretend that they're runaway favorites here.

I do not feel the Lions are favorites for anything. So many have them as the 1 seed in the NFC but they are devistated with defensive injuries and squeaked by the Bears and Texans. Their easy schedule is over with the Pack coming up next Thursday then Buffalo, San Fran, the Vikes and Bears again. I can see a few losses in there and depending on who beats them they could be a wild card

The Chiefs in my opinion will run out of luck with the missed field goals or blcked field goals or messed up snaps and it will not be easy to win in a playoff game

Yea their D is banged up, but regarding their "easy" schedule, you realize they've already beaten the Vikings and Packers at their places.

I think the Eagles may get the NFC’s #1 seed - they have 4 home games left and they should win them all, Steelers is the only challenging one, they do play the Commanders and Ravens on the road but if they win just 1 of those games I think they have a good shot at the #1 seed with a 14-3 record, not sure who would hold the tiebreaker between them and the Lions but I think the Eagles have a good shot at the #1 seed, plus they are playing great right now. The Lions have a great O but their D is a bit shaky especially with the injuries starting to pile up.

Go Lions

thus far...nothing says it's not looking more likely by the week. Lets play another week or two and then check to see who's been hurt, which team brain farts.

Yea I remember Detroit in Green Bay last year when they won early in the season and then I also remember Thanksgiving last year

You best hope the Lions defense with what people are saying 9 injured players with 5 or 6 starters will be able to prevent a 29 - 14 deficit

I'd love to see a Lions-Bills Super Bowl.
