Bengals went 4-3 without Burrow in 2023. I get the argument but its more 'Where would be Bengals be without Burrow, Chase, and Higgins imo.'

That was 2023. Hard to believe, but their defense in 2024 was even worse than in 2023. Remember the year Peyton Manning didn't play for the Colts and they went what 1-15? Showed how valuable he was.

Bengals SRS ranking on Defense was -3.6. Bad. Dallas and Tenn had -3.7 defenses and Cinci played both. They played Carolina who had a D that was -8.4 which was by far the worst defense. They played the Giants who had the 2nd worst defense. They played the Browns twice and they had the worst offense in the league. Bengals would've won at least 4 games without Burrow.

If we are actually defining the word correctly nobody has been more valuable to their team than Jayden Daniels. Barkiley is perhaps responsible for a few wins so I can see that argument. But Jayden Daniels is responsible for far more than a few more wins. No way they go 12-5 and are in the NFC Champiionship Game with any other QB they would have had.
