Things are quiet here in ATL...that could mean a trade is in the making. At least in the media, word is no deal for 2 #1s. I assume HOU came back with something less. The sticking point could be ATL's 2nd rd pick... ATL really wants an OT in the 2nd even if they get Clowney...and they would be in position for one @ 2.37
If that pick goes to HOU, maybe they pkg their 3rd & 4th (have 2 in 4th) to get back into the 2nd...idk...I'd be surprised if ATL doesn't not come away from this draft without a top tier OT.
On the eve of the NFL draft, Johnny Manziel said he has no idea which team will pick him but that any quarterback-needy team that passes on him will regret it.
"I believe they will, personally," he said Wednesday at a league-sponsored function in Lower Manhattan. "I know in my heart how good I want to be and how committed I am to this game."
The former Texas A&M star, projected as a possible top-10 pick, is confident he has alleviated concerns about his off-the-field habits. Clearly, though, he's still bothered by the perception that he's a schoolyard quarterback.
"I see there's room for me to improve, but to say I'm just a backyard-football quarterback, I don't think you do what I did in college and do some of those things [with that style]," he told about 40 reporters. "I don't think that's extremely fair. I hear it, but for me, I know it's all about my work ethic and my will to get better. That's very alive and inside me."

Cleveland will get him first.
Yeah and that mule that lost the Kentucky Derby knew in his heart how good he wanted to be and was committed to winning, but in the end, he wasn't good enough.
Johnny needs to quit running his mouth.
Ever since the kid left A&M he's been telling people how great he was - yet he lacked the onions to throw at the combine.
The idea being that since he's not throwing to his receivers, his numbers would be low.
Well, DUH!
On the other hand, last I checked, whomever drafts him isn't going to get his receivers as a package deal. Whatever team is stupid enough to waste a pick on this guy is going to have receivers to whom he's never thrown the ball.
He looked great at his proday. SO WHAT?! You're supposed to look great at your proday.
He told the Texans that if they didn't draft him it was the biggest mistake they ever made.
This kid has bust written all over him and some chump team out there is going to waste a pick on him. I hope it's the Browns.
Johnny Manzeil, meet Troy Polamalu.

That is my issue with Johnny Football.
His Attitude and the Way he carries himself off the field is that he only cares about Johnny Football
IMO he i little POS (just cleaning it up a bit) that missed a couple trips to the woodshed when he was Younger, and they where much MUCH need
I Probably going to get some hate on this post.
If so can i ask the people a couple questions
Has Teddy Bridgewater said anything?
What About Blake Bortles?
Derek Carr?
AJ McCarron?
Zach Mettenberger?
Jimmy Garoppolo?
Nuff said proved my point
He has the ability and intangibles. It is about: 1. Work ethic 2. How mentally strong he is. 3. Football IQ (with comes with time) 4. Confidence is always a great thing to have
You know what they said about Roethlisberger: "A pocket passer with marginal mobility and cannot escape the rush. Must improve his downfield accuracy as well as the placement of the outs. Majority of snaps are taken out of the shotgun."
He is the same type of player as Ben, minus the height.
