that 1st quarter was, IMO the greatest quarter of football in nebraska history. the 3th quarter in 09 v mizzou was pretty damn good too

That 1st quarter reminded me of the 90's........you may not remember it quite as well as myself since you're a bit younger, but in the early 90's that was the way most 1st quarters went for Nebraska.

i wont lie, i think im a little less worried about the O-line this year i think, than most people. all this talk about the offense attacking, playin angry, and playing with some swag, along with more coaching help focused solely on the line, i think they are going to be a lot better this year.

Good Lord we are good on defense............seriously. Just watching this game, it reminds me how fundamentally we are the best defense in the country. No team has better coached individuals on a defensive unit, and that is why I say all we need is an average offense to win football games.

Yea Martinez is not a set passer.........that's why I think he will absolutely thrive in this new offense. Beck was the reason Kansas was insanely good on offense in 2007, and most of it had to do with Reesing's ability to throw on the run. Kansas literally was a few points from having a shot at going undefeated that year.

And the thing about that offense, most of the passes were little 5-8 yard dump offs on the run.........that is right up Taylor's alley.

yeah, and with speedy receivers like bell and turner, that 5 yards could easily turn in to 50. im quite excited to see this new offense

for a guy that did so much, he finished 7th all time rushing at N didn't he?, i feel like he was soooo underrated. and he really does have a lot better speed than most people think
