You say you brew your own beer Sandhill? Im going to try that when I get back there. My neighbor brewed his own amber and it tasted pretty good

You say you brew your own beer Sandhill? Im going to try that when I get back there. My neighbor brewed his own amber and it tasted pretty good

I make the non-alcoholic ginger beer. Which is basically grate or mince, place in cheesecloth and suspend in water. Then add sugar and whatever else to taste.

In the future, when I have more free time, I plan to try a little brewing. Beer, yes, but my ultimate goal is to brew some mead using honey from an area keeper. Quite a few people brew beer but I never hear of someone brewing mead.

Very similar to wine. It can get pretty potent. More than anything, I picture myself with a raised drinking horn

with mead in it, followed by me shouting loudly then downing it. Bonus if I'm wearing viking garb and a giant claymore.

But yeah, there's a few bee keepers around and have kicked around the subject a bit with a buddy.
