I think OSU has shown that Georgia's borders are pretty weak over the last few years. We've pulled several studs from that state - Bradley Roby, Vonn Bell, Kwon come to mind right away. I'll just wish you good luck in Texas, as we've planted our flags pretty firmly there for a few years now. Florida and Cali have more than enough talent for us both to poach a few each year. LA is a tough state if you're not Bama, it would seem. If you guys choose to ignore Ohio and Pennsylvania, I'm cool with that. You can have Jersey and we'll still claim Maryland.

We proved that this year also. But I think Michigan is just going to target the big 3 states now. Pep and Frey have connections in Florida, Texas and Cali. I don't think they are going to recruit Ga, Miss and LA as hard, even though Otis Reese is a commit, mainly due to the Lee County Solomon connection.

I saw a lot of Michigan recruiters come in my part of GA this year (central GA). I help with broadcasts for a few top 10 HS programs in Georgia (Northside in Warner Robins, and Houston County in Warner Robins). I also ran one of the cameras for the ESPN broadcast of the rising seniors game at Mercer University last month. I counted 3 guys wearing Michigan stuff on both sidelines (none were big recruits, but they had been contacted by Michigan). I think Michigan is going to keep trying to make GA a big recruiting place for them in the upcoming years.

Early Cbs means shit unless the guy commits early. They can change em at any time. Good luck on Marvin Wilson btw, but he is staying south IMO.

There is no reason to talk about the 2018 classes. No one is a lock to sign anywhere and in today's NCAA -- a commitment doesn't mean anything until the LOI is signed.

Kids now commit early it seems to get their name in the paper and gain social media followers. It is a shame how many recruits play the game now.

Sounds like UF is his 2nd choice according to CB projections on 247, but he pretty much had shut everyone else out and was all Bama the last few weeks. Shitty move by us and I hope we find a way to make room for him.
