Hoping Bama can keep Najee Harris...
Whoever gets Cam Akers is going to have a stud at rb also.
Since you mentioned those 2 here's a little sample of Phillips against them in camps. Pretty athletic dude.

We are deep at LB this year now lets go get some Defensive Lineman

“It was fun and it was even better than that last time,” said Phillips, the nation’s No. 37 overall player. “It wasn’t just seeing all the stuff it was getting to experience the game day atmosphere and being around the coaches and players and seeing how they prepare and work with each other was a great experience.”

First thing Phillips did is said he's putting on a full course press on to get DT Rogers. And the Daley kid that committed last week I know everyone has him listed as a OLB, but he will DE before all is said and done at OU.

We're about to have ridiculous depth at DE. Amani Bledsoe, Arthur McGinnis, Daley, Mark Jackson, Addison Gumbs, Isaiah Thomas...

Boyce has been wavering for weeks and just removed UT commit from his status.

So he did pull his commit? I think he will be OU all the way. With the Big Uglies OU, might get back to Championship Caliber Defense. Just keep Mike out of the way

Already 5 crystal ball predictitions for Boyce to OU the last 2 days. Most from Longhorn writers too.

Definitely my favorite as well. It's his 2nd time flipping so who knows. He will annihilate some folks in the slot. Excellent route runner.

RB Jonathan Taylor commits to Wisconsin

Well my prayers have been answered. Badgers just got a New Jersey QB who is rated as a top ten QB. For the first time in Badgers history they get a top QB that can pass very effectively and run effectively.

Also just this evening they locked up a RB from Jersey as well a top 20 RB that's the fastest player in the Nation. He ran a 4.4 40 time as a Junior in HS. Hell previous Heisman candidates and all time rushing record leaders in TD's and Yards per attempt in Ball and Gordon only ran a 4.6 and 4.5 40 time and that was at 21-22 years old and kid did much better than that at 17. With our O-line all coming back next season and the following season as well I can see this kid breaking many National records and hopefully winning the Heisman Award to make the former New Jersey high school RB and former Badgers RB Ron Dayne Proud.

This team is going to be nasty next season with the entire O-line/TE returning with improved RB/QB and improved WR and Peavy returning at WR on the defensive side that's already top 5 they return the entire D-line, entire LB corps except one OLB(backup looks just as good) and lose just one CB and one S. Championship or bust for both the basketball and football program is how it looks right now.

Michigan is going to get around atleast 5 more 4 * recruits and atleast 2 5 *. I think they can make top 5 at the end of the day. Most of their targets are heavily favored except Najee(tossup) and Leatherwood(Bama). We could be the favorite for Darnay Holmes as well. As many as 4 5* could be committed but I'm guessing 2.

Hate to break it to you, but 4.42 in the 40 isn't remotely close to the fastest in the nation. Darnay Holmes ran a laser timed 4.32 at Nike The Opening. Maybe the fastest in New Jersey? 4.42 wouldn't have been in the top 10 at The Opening, I don't believe.

And here is his ranking:

247Sports composite: 3 stars, No. 548 overall, No. 32 RB, No. 12 NJ

He ran it in 2015 as a Junior. I'm not sure if he's faster now but for 2016 a 4.42 would be tied for 7th and most likely one of the fastest if not the fastest for how much he weighs. Most the guys faster than him were a bunch of twigs at 170 lb CB's. Pound for pound he's one of the most athletic RB's in the 2016 recruiting class and will be a great change of pace RB coming off the bench for the Badgers.
