Hahaha I send that gif to my sister all the time. It became a family favorite last year when she texted me once when I was out watching a football game. She asked if I was hammered so I sent her that in response.

Lol I feel even better if 247 is projecting it. There about as lazy as it gets. They waited till an hour before Gumbs committed then 3 people crystal balled it for OU. :pound:
Besides yall have enough 5 stars and Texas is out of the picture. Back off bitches!!!! :slaphappy:

Please....:hope::hope::hope:

It means he's pretty sure Akers is coming to Ohio State. Dobbins has already said if OSU doesn't add Akers, he's sticking with OSU, but if they do, he might open it back up.

I would say right now that Okudah is the most likely Texas kid to sign with OSU. He is leaving the state, unless something dramatically changes. Dobbins story is a bit complicated. I am not sure he will be willing to leave the state when the time comes. I dont think OSU's coaches are convinced about his commitment either, 1 reason they are recruiting Akers so hard.

Yeah I can understand that. The OSU coaches are extremely high on Akers, I know that. I think he's their #1 target at the position. It seems like everyone has doubted Dobbins' commitment to OSU except for Dobbins himself. He's held his position confidently the entire way through, except for saying that if OSU takes Akers, he will at least consider looking around.

At the end of the day, I think OSU gets Akers and Dobbins sees the writing on the wall and goes elsewhere.

I just look at the actions. Kid still talking to other coaches and OSU coaches are still recruiting the position. Words are great, but they never tell the whole story. He may stick, but I think distance may end up becoming a bigger issue as reality sets in. It is not that the kid is not committed today, it is just that he is young and from a single parent home. Leaving Momma and his younger siblings may weigh on him later in the process. It happens all the time. Seems like a kid that may look to find an excuse to stay closer to home. It is the reason why coaches always need to have a back-up plan, especially on out of state kids

Austin is an hour from his home. PLUS his girlfriend attends Texas. It's still undefeated......so if they are still together come signing day......and Texas has a good season........for all those reasons, I think he signs with Texas. Just my opinion but I keep telling these guys......it's HARD to pull a kid that grew up here watching Texas and VY out of the state, especially that far. All the blue chip kids instate are looking for the right reason to GO to UT, not leave.

But when Mond came in he gave that team a spark

LOL and an INT

The best players last night were Ausbon and Delpit, BOTH going to LSU. It's like you all just recruit names and hype, not even starters, WOW

If you can't see the writing on the wall here I don't know what else will shake your aggys out of this delusion that you have a great class. All three stars and second stringers, SMH

Dude College and high school are totally different. These guys from IMG are good students and athletes and that's what A&M wants.

Dobbins, who isn't even listing Texas as a school he's interested in at this time, is only not coming to Ohio State if we get Akers (which is looking likely). It's really not hard to pull Texas kids away from UT. I have no idea where you're getting the idea that they somehow have this power over Texas kids.

I'm making a statement that should be fairly obvious here.

ANY state with a legacy program is going to be difficult to pull kids from out of state. That's just the way it is. OSU recruitniks are even predicting Dobbins will go UT already here.

The fact you think this isn't going on just because the kid gave you a few quotes is pretty funny. We've seen MANY players do this, including several from this year's class......all swearing FEALTY to other programs until a day or so before signing day.

We know what you don't. We see this kid......we know his family and what they're looking at. When we tell you we have EVERY confidence those kids are going to Texas is because we have REASON to.

But you keep hanging on to something that's really meaningless right now.

If they end up at Texas the only surprised party here will be you, because you simply refuse to accept that Texas has something to offer.

These kids are BACKUPS.

You're recruiting kids that don't start in HS, but you think they'll magically hit the field for you and dominate in the SEC?

REALLY???

Marchiol didn't see the field to a kid that is a 3 star prospect with 2 offers to his name, neither of which are a P5 program. Mond is behind a 2018 prospect with very few offers as well.

Only an aggy would spin this as a positive. Even the other QB recruit you guys have from Georgia, Fortin, threw 3 INTs.

You guys are recruiting SCRUBS that nobody realistically wants. If you think this is going to make your program and team better I'll have whatever it is you're smoking. You guys are looking at turning into Vanderbilt or Kentucky in football in short order if this nonsense continues.
