How did I miss that part? Why should James really give a crap that some team he has no interest in signing with and will be competing against next year is having a hard time because he's considering his options? If he's actively colluding with the team he's going to eventually sign with to make things more complicated then that's another story entirely. But what's out there is that he's opted out and weighing his options. If the Rockets, Bulls, Knicks, or whoever else can't make a decision because they're waiting to see what James does is that really his problem? He's basically unemployed right now.
Uh, there are 2 team that are waiting directly for him to decide. Those teams also can't do much until he decides.
This also trickles down to other teams who will be making moves once they know what is happening with the Heat and Cavs.
None of this is happening in a vacuum. It effects virtually the entire league.
Where in the CBA does it say that a player needs to give a time frame for when they're going to sign?
HE DOESN'T HAVE A CONTRACT RIGHT NOW WITH ANY NBA TEAM. WHY SHOULD HE GIVE A SHIT????
He is a free agent and free to be inconsiderate to an organization that helped him win not 1 but two championships. Cleveland is not something that was just sprung. The season has been over for quite some time and plenty of time to think and discuss with family and decide. What he is doing is crushing the Heat's chance of fielding a competitive team by not deciding earlier. He is free to do what he wants, but must live with the consequences.HE DOESN'T HAVE A CONTRACT RIGHT NOW WITH ANY NBA TEAM. WHY SHOULD HE GIVE A SHIT????
The sad thing is that we're early in the process. Everyone's getting their unmentionables in a bundle right now because the media is whipping up a storm about it.

I still thank him for a great 4 years and one helluva run.
Good perspective.I'll say this
Even if Lebron gave us a "timeline" it wouldn't simmer down the frenzy. Can you imagine turning on ESPN, they'd have a countdown clock every Sportscenter til the day he makes the decision.
This is what I think
Lebron is leaning towards returning to Miami (and has been from the get go) but his inner circle wants him to return to Cleveland. Lebron hanging out with his old friends has brought back a lot of nostalgic feelings and good memories. This has caused Lebron to rethink and reassess the situation.
Sure this whole Lebron thing has dragged out a tad bit, but maybe the guy is really still on the fence. I'm sure there's a lot of mixed emotions going through his mind and a lot of things he has to weigh in making this decision. Would it appease the fans some if he gave us a deadline? Yeah, sure. But if I were someone in a position of power with a big decision that I have to make...if I didn't have to have a deadline...why would I self impose a deadline for myself.
And honestly...it's only been what 2 weeks since free agency has started. That only seems like an eternity to most people, because people are constantly checking twitter, social media, and other media outlets for updates every minute.

I don't think most fans who aren't a fan of the heat or cavs so much care who he chooses. It's fact that he's locking up rest of free agents being a baby about it.
If the Lakers weren't getting him or carmelo they could have possibly gotten Lowry, gortat, Steve Blake etc.
i wonder what people would've said about MJ in todays world. the guy "retired" about a month before the season started the first time.

I know a lot of people are frustrated and saying that LeBron's indecisiveness is unfair to the other players in the league, but.....
that is complete BS.
These are all grown men and this is a business. LeBron has every right to take his time and the teams and other players involved have every right to move on before he makes up his mind. They won't because they want to see what he does before making their decisions, but it is totally unfair to say that LeBron is holding everyone up. Nothing is happening because the other players/teams are choosing not to act right now. Chris Bosh could make a decision today as could Carmello Anthony and the other big players in free agency. Just because they are choosing to wait also, does not mean that this is all LeBron's fault.
Don't put this burden on one person. When he is ready, he will make his destination public. Until then, everyone else needs to make the best decision for themselves and their teams and get off LeBron's back.
