He's going to continue with these 2 year contracts with the 2nd being a player option for as long as he wants. He was already willing to give back salary this past summer if it meant getting a valuable addition to the roster (not just for tax savings for the owners) and I would expect that to repeat again this summer.
He won't stick around expecting max salary if he can't play to his own expectations. He's made it to the beginning of Bronny's career and Bryce's first chance at the draft will be 2026. After that? He's probably looking more at ownership (Vegas expansion?) or other financial ventures more than playing at that point.
