He is a being a complete jackass.

We all understand he has his rights, but there is also a certain way to carry yourself.
He is a professional. He has professional colleagues. Act like a professional.

We know he is a grown man, but he doesn't live in a vacuum. His decisions or lack of them can cause serious unnecessary pain to loyal fans, loyal friends, and sympathetic employers.

He is causing an unnecessary circus and making this a joke all over again.
You cannot even blame the folly of youth or inexperience. He should have learned from last time.

He made a colossal douche move in 2010, and the world spent 4 years trying to apologize for him.
I was a vocal apologist who had no skin the game like Heat fans. I spent 4 years defending this guy.

But, this is just completely unnecessary and extremely INCONSIDERATE to do it again.

LeBron has not said a word. It is ESPN and the rest of the sports media world who is blowing this up.

Like I said before, all of the other free agents and teams are free to move on, but they are choosing not to.

I definitely think he has the right to take his time. Gives him more time to decide who his teammates will be.

It's the media and the age of twitter

Everyone wants up to the second updates on every tiny detail. The media has created a big circus out of this. Also see a lot of false/premature reporting throughout the past couple of weeks. Seems like journalism has fallen towards who gets the story out first rather than focusing on accuracy.

My friend still has the ESPN text that said Jared Allen had agreed to terms with the Seahawks from a couple months ago only to see him sign with the Bears a few days later.

Dwayne Wade has millions of dollars on the line here. If he isn't mad at LeBron then nobody here has any right to be.

So LeBron quietly takes two weeks to make a potentially life altering decision. Makes no comments in the media, does nothing wrong and he is a "complete jackass"

what the hell is he supposed to do? Christ people, don't tell me that at no point in your life have you ever sat and thought about a tough decision for a few weeks.

the guy just can't win with most idiots

what has he done that is so unprofessional? Is sitting and carefully considering your options unprofessional? Has he done something to cause a circus other than consider his options? Really? Its not even like he is pulling a Dwight Howard and saying something different to the media each.

we have literally heard nothing directly from LeBron since the finals.

If it were anyone else I would probably give them the benefit of the doubt, but this is Lebron we're talking about. He doesn't even know the meaning of the word, "considerate".

That perception will all change if he returns to Cleveland, won't it? Everyone will once again love him!

Honestly, if he goes back to Cleveland, I'll lose whatever respect I had for that city. Not just the Cavaliers, but the whole entire city.

Thanks for admitting that you can't look at the situation objectively.

I could look at it objectively. He's a douchebag, douchebags don't think about anyone but themselves. It's called common sense. Let's see how objective you see things when Lebron leaves your team.

Of course Heat fans will be upset if he leaves.

Cleveland fans may be even more upset if he does not sign there, and that is wrong since LeBron really has not done anything that would make fans think he is going there.

If Cleveland fans embrace him I hope he leaves them without winning them a championship…AGAIN!

If he goes back to Cleveland he will look like an inconsiderate asshole.

If he goes back to Miami, he will look like an inconsiderate asshole to many also. He can't win here.
