Dan Gilbert letter still an issue for LeBron James - ESPN
and so it ends....and lebron gets to blame gilbert

He's not doing anything wrong. He can take all the time he wants. But at this point, the decision should have been made by now. He is being inconsiderate and probably dragging it out because he loves the attention.
Anyone think this whole thing is to stick it to Dan Gilbert? You know that letter still irks him and what better way to make him pay a little more by dangling his services at their doorstep and then signing with Miami...again.
I disagree. His rep took a major hit after The Decision. I don't think he's playing games any more. As far as Gilbert goes, thats water under the bridge. Both were at fault after the fiasco 4 years ago. Lebron's not being inconsiderate this time around IMO.He's not doing anything wrong. He can take all the time he wants. Thats hard for me to admit. I was bitter when he left and royally pissed off. I'm a Cavs fan, and a fellow Akronite. It took a long time for me to understand he had every right to leave. He just went about it the wrong way. Gilbert should have kept his mouth shut. I wish Lebron well.

Not reading through all the comments, but it appears as though the consensus is that he is selfish, inconsiderate, yada yada yada, et al....
I don't buy it. He's under the microscope and not one of us can fathom what that's like. We live in a 24/7 media driven world, where breaking news is not brought to us by credentialed reporters, but by tweeters and bloggers. He deserves all the time in the world to make up his mind.
Yes, its me Lady! HeyDirty, is that u?!?!?!?!?!?!![]()
Gilbert is definitely an issue. But from what I heard. Him and Lebron mended fences over the Letter a while ago. Whether they are on good terms is the question. You're right about Lebron loving the fans here. He gave us 7 years. As far as him returning, I would be shocked. As you said, too many obstaclesIt is fans like you who are the reason LeBron is considering a return. I truly believe that he loves the Cleveland fans, but there are a lot of obstacles in play for him to make a return, Gilbert being one of them.
The Bucks won't be competing any time soon, but this decision will come down to how well the Cavs are able to manage their assets to fill out a roster that can win today.
I would be floored by that. Almost as floored as I was after the Decision.LBJ is returning to Cleveland.
