I respect the fact that you are self aware though. You have every right to dislike a player.

I'm not really a hater, I just don't have a good impression. I'm not really a fan of the NBA in general. More of a NHL guy. Honestly, my opinion of Lebron should be seen as worthless as far as the NBA is concerned.

He is holding up people. I'm upset because the Lakers are being held up in this process(along with many other teams). Houston can't make a decision because Bosh is waiting on Lebron. The Lakers can't move on to plan B because Carmelo is holding out hope that he can play with Lebron. The Bulls and Knicks can't move on for the same reason. Alot of names are waiting it out because teams like the Lakers have money to offer. Here's in my opinion were he's being inconsiderate. MIAMI can't go after key free agents because they can't tell them what type of cap space they'll have and if Lebron will come. I don't blame him for getting his money, but I think he'll regret not telling Miami that he'd play for less if necessary. That way they could have made a more solid pitch to free agents. The person I feel most bad for in this situation is D-Wade. Left that 40 mil. on the table AND might get stuck with a significantly lesser team.

Hahahahahahahaha, I don't feel for him at all. He's even more pompous than Lebron.

Contract negotiations ARE the time to be selfish. In free agency it's up to every player to look out for himself #1... maximize your earnings, maximize your chances to win. The better the player, the better the offers.

It doesn't make sense for him to rush the negotiations and make everyone else happy. Why should he care how much time he leaves opposing teams to fill out their rosters?

Illogical statement. Guy would earn 30-40 million a year if there was no cap.

I agree with this. His people seem to have their own agenda and have not done him any favors here.

Lebron is doing nothing wrong. It is the media and his haters that are making this out to be a big deal. This is no different than you or I mulling a new job offer. You want to make 100% sure that it is the right career move.

OP...no, not inconsiderate.

At that the same time I think this is totally media driven...I'm sure LBJ is not just sitting around...it's been reported that he's met with this GM, that GM...the same is going on with Melo, etc..to some degree these deals may be connected.

Right now if I had to guess, they're to fit Melo in MIA, with LBJ, & Bosh. Wade takes a lesser role...but figuring out the money part probably means LBJ takes less than a max deal.

That might not be right, but there's no reason for Bosh to dangle if he wasn't trying to stay in MIA and that would only happen if LBJ comes back...he has a max deal in HOU where he can move to the #4 spot where he wants to play.

Sad. While all pro leagues have weak points and reasons to be criticized as well as goofy players, the NBA is the one where the inmates run the asylum. I no longer attend, or even watch NBA games. Still watch and go to college games. No more pro games.............ever.

We know he is a grown man, but he doesn't live in a vacuum. His decisions or lack of them can cause serious unnecessary pain to loyal fans, loyal friends, and sympathetic employers.

If sports are that important to a fan that it can cause them pain and suffering, then they've got bigger issues that whether Lebron signs or not with their favorite team.

That's what these weirdos are doing camping outside of Lebron's house when he's not even there.

Dwyane Wade left cross-country flight with LeBron James to Miami still unsure of which way James is leaning, sources tell Yahoo Sports.

This was posted by DJ on the rumors thread. The man truly has not made up his mind. Regardless of the impact that his decision has on the rest of the league, he can take as much time as he wants.

How much taxpayer money is it costing to send police cars to Lebron's home?

Even if they are paid privately, would the community of Cleveland be better served to have its police force fighting crime elsewhere.

A couple traffic accidents have happened as well thanks to the circus.....

It is all little stuff.

LEBRON could simply end all this by merely making a statement and telling everyone his timetable (whether its 1 day or next month)

He is allowing this to unfold. He knows what is happening.

Guys, I apologize for all the mean things I said about Lebron. I was wasted & might have taken things too far. Fact is I don't know Lebron as a person & all the things I think I know are based on the media's portrayal.
