So you cite pop and the spurs, but then you put dwades salary at 500K more than Tony Parker?

If Dwade is gonna miss 1/3 and STILL not have gas at the end of the year 10 is as high as he should see. and even that is pushing it, he just flat out needs a 3pt shot to prolong his career

I agree on the latter, and other Heat fans have been saying that Wade needs to refine his perimeter game. Wade did not run out of gas against the Spurs, the Spurs defended him along with the Heat in general. The week before the finals, ESPN was all over Wade's nuts and how much of a genius Spo was to rest Wade throughout the season. Yes, Wade is not at an all-time elite level. But he'll still average in the low 20's PPG.

Wade also was recovering from shock therapy to his knee along with a pulled hamstring in the latter part of the season. Still though, if Kyle Lowry (who's a good player) can get $12 mil per year from Toronto. I don't see any reason why Wade shouldn't be getting around the same if not slightly more.

Don't forget that Kobe essentially chased Shaq out of town and at least "encouraged" the draft day deal that landed him in LA to begin with.

Kobe gets credit for sticking with 1 team his entire career, but lets be real people. It is the freaking Lakers. This is not a level playing field. If Kobe were drafted by his home town 76ers, I guarantee he would not still be playing there.

You are way too smart to be believing urban legends.

Both Dr. Buss and Shaq disagree with you. Shaq himself has said that he left over money. He wanted the Lakers to pay him $30 million per year and the Lakers wanted to pay him $20 million.

Dr. Buss would likely have worked something out (met him halfway or maybe more than halfway). But then when Shaq was playing in a pre-season game that Dr. Buss attended, Shaq made a slam dunk and screamed "You gonna pay me now?" at Dr. Buss.

At that point, he was gone.

He barley played his 1st year and started 1 game his 2nd. Hard to get frustrated when you're not even a starter. He had the best center in the league when he became a regular starter. They were a lot closer of being major contenders in Kobe's first seasons as a stater than James was his first 7yrs.

What intentions was that? Kobe was under contract and the only demand he could make was "trade me". If Luol Deng wasn't included in the deal.....Kobe would have bolted and became a Bull.

As ESPN.com reported on Saturday, the Lakers have asked for Deng, Thomas, guard Ben Gordon and rookie Joakim Noah as the core parts of any trade for Bryant

Deng is very much in play in the conversations between Chicago and Los Angeles, ESPN.com has learned.

And it's mainly because of Bryant's wishes that Deng is still wearing a Chicago uniform.

A source with knowledge of the trade talks said Deng has been included in proposals swapped between the teams, but Bryant has continually threatened to veto almost any deal in which Deng would be included. Bryant wants to be sure that the team he joins has enough talent remaining to compete for the NBA title.

Contrary to most reports, the Bulls remain ready and willing to deal Deng, the source said. But if they're going to include Deng in a deal, they will not part with more than one of the other three, said the source.

Even then, it is not clear that any trade involving Deng would be acceptable to Bryant, who is wielding the power of the NBA's only no-trade clause by threatening to veto certain deals.

Kobe objecting to Deng's inclusion in Bulls-Lakers trade - NBA - ESPN

Once again, this is a completely different situation and once again, this was after Kobe has waited 3 years after Shaq left.

Glad to see that you're "done talking about Kobe". You didn't even last one post.

:laugh3:

A healthy Bynum was as much of a force than Bosh and LA actually had a bench. Doesn't matter Kobe is still a whiney bitch that demanded a trade, if they gave it to him he would of been on another team as well.

IMO playing in multiple teams is more difficult, you have to gain chemistry with a whole nother group

And Lebron is a whiney bitch who didn't even have the balls to look the Cavs in the eye before he left and is now threatening to leave a team that he just went to 4 straight finals and won back to back titles with.

At least one whiney bitch stayed.

Still though, I think it is apples and oranges comparing Kobe's decisions to LeBrons and I guess that was my point. I think if you put Kobe in LeBron's shoes, he likely would have left Cleveland at some point too. I don't think he would leave this Miami team though.

I'm not the one who compared Kobe's situation to Lebron's. In fact, I pointed out that the situations were different.

Jim"I'mdonetalkingaboutKobe"Doors was the one trying to claim Kobe did the same thing Lebron is doing. I think Kobe would have left Cleveland as well. Any player, superstar or not, who wants to win rings would leave Cleveland (or avoid ever going there in the 1st place).

I also agree, Kobe would not leave the current situation in Miami.

I see that as a compliment compared to some of your Laker buddies on here.

Please, even Sman looks smart compared to you. I wonder if I can get Hammer to change your screen name to Jim"I'mdonetalkingaboutKobe"Doors?

Threatening to leave is looking over his options. Btw...your crippled whiney bitch will make more than Lebron, which shows he is a selfish and money hungry. I would take Lebron over him anyday, bc he actually gives a shit about his teammates. And that is something nobody will ever take away.

Lebron is the greatest carpetbagger in the NBA. He has never won a title... he bought them. He has no concept of what a TEAM is really about.

His bunch of bandwagon players lost to a genuine TEAM. I wish him nothing but failure from this point.

He sacrificed the chance at a great legacy. He bought a couple of rings... but he is the most reviled player in the NBA. Is that really worth another ring and a few more million?

First of all, the Lakers offered Kobe that much, he didn't ask for it. Second, he asked them if they could still build a contender while paying him that much and they said yes. Third, Kobe has stayed with the Lakers for his entire career and the Lakers are paying him that much for the money he has made them and the fact that he stayed.

If Lebron gives a shit about his teammates, why did he leave his teammates in Cleveland? Why is he leaving his current teammates hanging and threatening to ditch them and run off to greener pastures?

Also, he has opted out of his contract and has his agent fielding offers from several teams. So yes, your whiney bitch is threatening to leave.

Bottom line, your whiney bitch is no better or more innocent than the Lakers whiney bitch. The only difference is, you can't see that with your whiney bitches nutsack covering your eyes.

Interesting, considering the fact that he is one of the few superstars in NBA history willing to pass to an open shooter instead of forcing a contested shot himself when the game is on the line. This comment is nothing but drivel. You may not like how LeBron views free agency or how he speaks to the media, but he is the ultimate team player when he is on the court.

pass to open shooter = defer to other players, scared of taking game winning shot
