i think turner is an interesting way to go.. like you guys said with 3 channels that could cover it.. i think a lot of the hockey coverage would go to TruTV because they are looking to grow that as a channel.. problem is, as far as i know, turner has 0 hockey guys.. it would be starting all new in terms of broadcasters, intermission guys, etc.

perhaps they could just hire away all of VS's guys? i dont know. i think the best way for the nhl to grow is to go with espn, but i also dont think that Ed Snider is going to let that happen.

my dream scenario would be to have versus keep what they have now, and have ESPN with a 'Game of the Week', say on a Wednesday (avoiding college football on thursdays).. but i also don't think that will happen, i dont think any of the bidders are willing to bid on non-exclusive rights
