Ok , but you're going into last nights game with out any real animosity except it's a divisional rival, there's no way you foresee a questionable hit, it happened and I saw a couple of our guys step up and dude didn't want to engage. So next game I would imagine we dress Delaurias and dude does or doesn't answer the bell, but for me personally, if I'm trying to win games and compete offensively, I'm not giving him a spot that game. I'm not trying to really argue the point, I just don't see a need for his play unless we know it's gonna be a physical/chippy game or we're seeking retribution for an unjust as last nights hit. We'll see next game cause I think we play them like 3 times in the next few weeks.

This proof you don't need to be a fighter to stand up for yourself and your teammates.

If you want to win games why would you want you want one of your better player going off for 5 minutes with their fourth liner. If you have a guy like Deslauriers in the line up you dont have to stand up for other players because no cheap shots get taken in the first place.

Big win over the Islanders. The latest is that Tsyplakov has been suspended for 3 games for the hit on Poehling. So, where exactly was the fucking penalty in-game!?! Should've been a 5 minute major, clearly. The referees should be suspended too, and without pay, for reviewing this and calling nothing. The hit was high, late and followed right through Poehling's head. Plus, the have the obvious injury afterwards.

All of that said, we still gave up two power play goals to a team that has a historically bad power play this season. Still, it was critical to close that game out and not let them get a point.

So, at the end of the day, Tsyplakov will miss our next meeting on the 24th, but I'm assuming he'll play against us in Philly on the 30th. He may or may not have to answer for the hit on that night.

Looks like we got back to .500 though and that is always good news to be on yet the start of another winning streak hopefully.

Massive 3-1 win over NJ in their building!! The narrative has really changed with our boys here in just one week's time. Points in five straight games and four regulation wins over the same stretch, a couple of them against 2nd place teams.

Michkov scores via a breakaway, Brink does his best Bobby Orr impersonation on the power play and Konecny officially ends it with another breakaway, empty-net goal. 33 blocked shots and we somehow won the special teams battle against a highly-talented team that excels in that area.

There's a long way to go, but this now almost looks like a team that wants to make the playoffs and upset someone in the 1st round.

Detroit is surging too. Let's see if we can cool them off on Tuesday night in Philly.

As of this moment, we're only 1 point shy of Boston and 2 points shy of Columbus for playoff position. Unfortunately, they do have extra games remaining, but this is definitely progress.
