I think James is going to call it a career. I would be surprised if he returned as James has already publically admitted he is not going to take a pay reduction to help the Lakers with finding a Center. I think the Lakers will move Reaves and maybe Hachimura this summer along with that 2031 Draft pick to get the Center they need.

I've yet to see where Lebron has said anything about next season, pay reduction or not. It seems everyone is basing these statements on nothing more than conjecture.

I agree, ALR. I am parroting what alot of the pundits are saying. What the Lakers should really do, is stop trading away their draft assets to get a Center and if they do move Hachimura and Reaves, then they have to replace them with some bodies of equal or better playing levels. That may not happen because the Lakers are already strapped under the cap.

This is where the Lakers have created their own conundrum. Pelinka needs to stop the flow of assets out to get a win-now guy that the Wolves exposed. How did the Wolves get what they have? They didn't give away a host of Draft capital and they drafted some of their players and then developed them.

The Wolves missed the playoffs 16 out of 17 seasons from 04/05 to 20/21. Lakers' fans would've burned down the arena in half that time.

They gave away a METRIC TON of draft capital to get Gobert.

They recently moved KAT to get Randle and DiVincenzo.

Naz Reid was a UDFA signing initially.

McDaniels was a #28 pick via the Lakers and then OKC trades

Alexander-Walker and Conley were part of the LA/Utah/Minn Westbrook dump

Of their current big minute players, only Edwards (a #1 pick overall) was an actual Wolves draft pick.
