I just can't imagine a baseball game without fans. It's just not the same.
No, it would not be the same at all. If they would at least have fans for most of it, I could see playing the first 15 or 20 games or so without fans, but the whole thing without fans would be awful.

By the time they get around to playing, out governor might be allowing 100% capacity. Somehow, I think a more anti-fans-at-games mindset, from either MLB or the Rangers, will prevail and keep fans away, unnecessarily so.

MLBPA has rejected the MLB plan and MLB has rejected the MLBPA plan so i think the 2020 season is dead and buried
Thought it all along. To bad but this year has been pretty much a looser for every one. Hang in Scottie and stay well.

The draft starts tomorrow evening, June 10, with the first round. A lot of the mock drafts have the Rangers taking, LHP Garrett Crochet, Tennessee; RF Heaton Kjerstad, Arkansas; or CF Garrett Mitchell, UCLA.

stick to the damn college players

JD thinking he’s the smartest guy in the room going with a project type picK from high school with “ huge upside if he develops” is what got us into this mess.

seems like we missed on all of those gambles.

JD has hurt this team in so many ways. He left us with bad contracts in Fielder and Choo. We have no quality position players except an aging Elvis. Fight field is weak and left and center field is yet to be seen. There are a couple of good prospects in line but much work to do.

As far as first round picks go, before Jung, the last two college picks were Tate and Chi Chi. So it hasn't been just the strategy of going with a high school guy that has worked out poorly.

Gallo and Winn were a couple of high school guys who either, did pan out, or in Winn's case, is panning out so far. There were many who didn't.

Tate is the biggest failure to me because he was taken so high.

I don't mind some HS guys, but they have relied too heavily on them before last year it seems.

Is not college ready position guys more the safe bets than pitchers. Seems like it is a numbers game regardless.

In principle though I get the past approach for high ceiling low floor picks are much more risky.
