I think it’s the rangers organization finally admitting to themselves that Odor is not the long term answer at second base.

fans have been begging for corrective action to be taken against that little shit and until now, all we have seen is the organization prop him and protect him like he’s some kind chosen one.

I know people will say that the team stunk last year and it didn’t matter anyway, but I think players at the highest level should at least be held accountable and earn their playing time. Enabling people never leads to a good outcome.

Evan Carter was not among the mlb.com Top 200 draft prospects.

To show how much the Rangers went off the board of mlb.com, there had only been two players chosen in the draft prior to the Rangers second round pick that were picked outside of the top 100 draft prospects. The Rangers chose a player not in the top 200.

Best case scenario is they have deals almost predone. Is there some guy who has turned down money previous for other clubs unknown to us. Seems incredulous. We shall see.

Reminds me of when they drafted an athletic football player in 1989, Donald Harris. What a bust he was.

With the overall 86th pick in the 3rd round the Rangers select Tekoah Roby. He is a righty high school pitcher from Pensacola, FL.

He was taken in the 86th slot and he was ranked at 144.

This may give us some insight into how Covid has affected our ownership's finances. We may be in a lot of trouble over the next couple of years. This coming offseason may see us selling off any veteran not under control past 2022.

Rangers take another high school player. A SS, Thomas Saggese. He probably doesn't have the arm to stay at SS and will probably have to move to 2B.

The guys on broadcasting the draft do not understand the Rangers draft class.
