That's the way I took it. Like we agreed earlier, sometimes things dont come across as planned. No biggie.
That's why I hate texting sometimes.

Some people are more direct than others. I am one of those people. I usually will express my opinion and leave little to the imagination. I don't often mean to imply anything.

Though I do realize that the vast majority of posters on the Hoop do make a lot of indirect posts with clear implications.

But I am not one of those guys unless I am obviously kidding around, which I do a lot.

It's all good.

This series depends on one Big if.

If the Heat are the Big Three, they should win.

If the Heat are Cleveland South (that is, LeBron trying to do it all on his own), they will lose.

LeBron cannot beat the Spurs by himself. Wade and Bosh have to contribute.

Or San Antonio wins.

You can bet Pop is going to take away something. 1 of the big 3 will not get off. Also Miami has to be extremely disciplined against the Spurs because they are constantly cutting, screening, and going back door. An over aggressive defense will get eaten up by the Spurs. I can see the Heat losing the first game to the Spurs but I think they will eventually prevail.

For sure, Miami won't beat the Spurs by forcing the turnovers they did in Game 7 against Indiana. There is too much championship experience in the Spurs' locker room for that to happen.

It just might. It almost happened against the Pacers.

I really do believe the Spurs are going to win it in 6 or 7.

I'm back up to 500 vbucks. I am going to bet 100 on the Spurs in Game 1 unless the line is too ridiculous to bet on it.

Not sure about the over/under. What do you guys think about the over/under?

GAME 1 is a throwaway.

The Spurs will be playing that one with house money.

After 10 days of inactivity, a game versus a 66 win team fresh off its best performance of the post-season is a daunting task.

I will be thrilled if SA wins....

But, I expect them to look extremely rusty at times.

Games 2 and 6 (maybe) are the far more important road games.

Game 7s are usually an impossible task for the road team.

And those stats don't mean a whole lot except that when LeBron passes the ball the guy who receives it scores more points than the guy Parker passes it to. That's not Parker's fault.

I disagree. While Parker doesnt take the shot for the guy, the role of a good PG is to get the ball to guys in positions where they can be successful. Knowing which guy to pass to and where his sweet spots on the floor is, is the role of a PG. Guys like lebron and parker are good enough to create shots not just for themselves, but create good looks for everyone else on the floor by forcing defensive coverage to them.

Line has been 5.5 since game 7 ended.
I forget exact over/under but I think it was mid 180's.

I agree 1000% with this.
