Hey BKS..remember that you originally posted "seeing the Heat only losing 2-3 games max in the playoffs"... you feel silly now , dont ya?
To be fair (and in no way I'm attacking you) anyone that said the Heat could run rough shot to through the playoffs doesn't know a thing about basketball.
I for one knew we would face a combination/permutation of the Bulls/Pacers/Knicks. These teams had some success against the Heat during the regular season and the former 2 posed physical mismatches to make the Heat work a bit. It was also Greg Doyel (a well spoken idiot) who wrote an insane article that the Heat would go 16-0.
The Heat just aren't built to challenge the Bulls 72-10 record and won't in the future considering they'll have to play sparingly through some stretches of the season, similar to what Pop does for Manu and Tim Duncan. They also rely on a smaller and faster style of play which will cost them when playing physical teams like the Pacers and the Bulls. Which is why the Heat won't ever have an "all-time" playoff record during any postseason run. This was proven since the Heat's first sweep came in the 3rd year of the Big 3 era where they finally swept the Bucks.
