Terrible defense by LeBron on that play. Surprised the commentors didn't pick up on it. If he keeps his feet, no chance Parker gets that shot off. He took himself out of the play.

Tony Parker is the best PG in the game right now.

In his defense there was only like 1 or 2 seconds left when Parker fell down, Parker made an incredible play.

GO SPURS GO.

Some thoughts:

1. The better TEAM won tonight. Miami might be better in game #2, but the Spurs were the better team in game 1.

2. The Spurs were very rusty and still won. They will not be missing those wide open 3 pointers that often in the Spurs system.

3. Lebron has to either be superhuman or Wade/Bosh need to add something.

4. Kawahi Leonard is a younger, longer, and quicker Bruce Bowen.

GO SPURS GO

Wade was Miami's most efficient scorer tonight, yet he only averaged 1 shot in the 4th. I think he needed to be more aggressive, same goes for LeBron.

Kawhi Leonard is San Antonio's best kept secret. I said it after game 7 of the ECF that the Miami Heat defense would have trouble with San Antonio. The traps and hard doubles that generate so many TOs for the Heat aren't going to work against the Spurs. It might work against teams like the Bulls or Pacers, but it won't against the Spurs. Some people thought the Pacers matched up best with the Heat because of their bigs, but they forgot that the Spurs probably have the best offense in the league.

If a team can get through a trapping Memphis team, they can deal with Miami's traps no problem.

I still wouldn't say that the Spurs have all of these advantages over Miami, though. Miami's athleticism should eventually prevail in a long series with this tempo. I just think that Miami looked a bit tired in the 4th quarter and the Spurs looked fresh.

The Bulls and the Pacers are the 2 most physical teams in the league and Lebron and Dwade take huge blows every game. This was the scenario we needed for a good finals.
