Spurs v Clippers is a Finals caliber matchup in rd1. I know there have been times in the past where its been close to that level but this is the first time I can think of it being a legit hype first round series going in.

I really wish a healthy Durant couldve been involved and a healthy Blazers team, too. Maybe not the strongest the West has ever been but its pretty close

The SPURS did not lay down.
They got beat by a desperate team on the road.

They weathered the storm of 1st quarter energy which saw all of NOLA's bench shoot 18-21 from the floor.
Those backup guys could not shoot 18-21 in an empty gym...but sometimes shooters get HOT.

Any other team would have quit being down 25 points in the 2nd quarter.
They clawed all the way back from down 25 to cut it to 4 points with 5 minutes left.

NOLA barely hung on to escape.
