The Spurs certainly picked the right time of year to get hot, in the wide open west they have as good a chance as anyone to win the West in the playoffs.
Too soon to count out the 4/5 seed from beating the WarriorsI just hope the Spurs stay out of the 4/5 spot... I want Spurs/Warriors to happen in the Conf finals

They had issues even before the Rondo trade. Dallas looks like a tough out but a tough out that might go down in 4 or 5. Still....Dirk looms*I could still see Dallas doing it if it ever clicks. But ever since the Rondo trade, they can't keep it consistently together night in and night out
spurs will get anywhere between 3-5 seed they only own the tiebreaker over houston. memphis, clips have the tiebreakers over san antonio

Except for they have to play a dangerous and desperate PELICANS team on the road now.
Houston, Clippers, Memphis, and OKC all get easy layups.
Although it would be nice if the Indiana/Memphis game meant something to the Pacers....maybe..
The Spurs only need to win for the #2, but they can lose one game and fall to the #6.
is the nba missing the boat by not have a 1 game playoff if there is a tie for the 8 seed?
Na it doesn't happen often enough.
The Spurs are 19-3 since Feb 27th. Their wins have been by an average of 18 points. Only one win was not a double-digit win: a 9 point win over Denver on Mar 6th. Two of their three losses were in overtime. The other loss was to Dallas, a team they clobbered three days later.
The Spurs are the team to beat... id favor the spurs to win the west if they get the 2 seed and have a showdown with GS in the WCF's.. Spurs are just as deep and have infinitely more playoff experience. Also, I want to see the warriors get crushed so their fans come back down to earth.
