Defensive scheme on that drive was awful
Not sure why they never seem to press and get up on the receivers, it’s worth doing sometimes …Seattle's D needs to start pressing WAY more. They are just allowing little dink and dunks down the field... RB outs, etc. I know Chase/Higgins are deep threats but you can't let them chip down the field like this all day.
I remember Pete Carroll doing an interview years back and he said they were ok giving up the dink and dunks because it's very hard for an NFL teams to sustain long drives. Which in theory is fine, the problem is for years now this team routinely gives up 10+ play drives over and over. The Seahawks have had way too much talent on defense over the last 6-7 years for it to consistently be this porous.Seattle's D needs to start pressing WAY more. Adams was active that drive and made a few good tackles. The D overall is still trash though.
