After SF and GB both traded up, I don't think there was much market to trade down anymore.

Agreed... They said he wouldn't have made it past the next 15 picks... Indy was the next suitor but with GB moving up to take Love, it took Indy out of the mix... Apparently, Indy really liked Love... If GB didn't move up, maybe Indy would've traded w/ Seattle...

I hope it was - but I had him as a 4th rounder, though I did see him mid 2nd in some places (including the SportsHoopla mock).

Despite what fans think, it's been apparent that the Seahawks feel they've addressed all those needs during the offseason. As much as I was looking at Gross-Matos, I doubted Seattle would take him.

No... I hope this is the one we can say we hit... One positive is since he's a 1st round pick, we'll have a 5th year option so I hope he plays up to expectations... The injured shoulder for a LB concern's me though...

I don't mind it at all. This guy has good speed for 240 and looks tough. Need more of that on defense for sure.
