Hate the week 4 bye and the lack of prime time home games. The game @ Philly being at 1 is nice though. And 3 early games with only 1 the second half of the season is good. 5 of the last 6 games in the division, including all 3 home contests. Without a doubt the division will be decided with those games. Also good to get the Redskins game early in the year before their shitty turf gets all torn up.

Our schedule isn't that bad

Week 1 to 3 - Tough stretch early on against 3 playoff caliber teams but two of them are at home and San Diego I think they're an 8-8 team this year. Hopefully we can go 2-1, I would be ecstatic if we can go 3-0 but very unlikely

Hate the early bye week but whatever

Week 5 to 11 - This is a very winnable 7 game stretch. Carolina will still be good but losing Jordan Gross, their entire wr core, and most of their secondary...there's a good chance they will take a step down. Kansas City, they're an 8-8 or 9-7 team this year at best. They benefited a lot from a cupcake schedule early on and when they faced some real teams they were exposed. Giants will be better and Skins will be improved, but those are both winnable. Likely that we will go 5-2 in this stretch, but if we want to win the division we will need to go 6-1 or better.

Week 12 to 17 - This will be the toughest stretch of the year...on paper at least. I see us splitting the 6 games and going 3-3, if we get lucky then 4-2.

I say 10-11 wins at the lowest and probably 13 at the most

How do the Super Bowl Champs get one Monday night game while the Redskins and Giants get 2 each? Ridiculous!

<COUGH!> <COUGH!> East Coast Bias.

Not only that, but KJR pointed out that out of our four prime time games, only the week 1 Packers game is at home. The NFL is not doing us any favors this season.

I like the bye at week 4 personally. All 3 teams (Packers/Broncos/Chargers) have legit offenses, so IF we can go 3-0 (two games at home of course, the harder ones IMO) it'll be nice to re-charge our batteries and go into an easier Washington game.

Washington is also the furthest distance we have to travel, so us getting a bye to possibly get over their a week early and get used to the early start will be nice.

We also have basically ZERO travel the first 3 games which is great. San Diego is like 2 1/2 hours and the other two games are home. AND we get a nice rest with our first game of the year being a Thursday.

Wow, 5 of last 6 are division games, tough. Absolutely critical to be in good health for the last 6 games.

Shark - I don't think PC does the go early thing. He keeps things as normal as possible and when there is a bye, they get the week off. Part of that is psychological in saying it is not the timezone or the travel that matters how we play. It is our play that matters.

Fair on the PC thing, but it doesn't hurt regardless.

On your second point, give me MOST of the division games stacked towards the end of the schedule as much as possible. I get the Rams/Cards/49ers are all good, but it tells your team later in the season (after possible ups/downs) exactly what is needed to win the division.

Give me late division games ANY day of the week, paints a blueprint for you and eliminates match ups that are out of your control. Allows you to control your division destiny as much as possible with later in season games.

I can see 3-4 losses, but who knows. Teams change a lot in one season. Could go undefeated or miss the playoffs for all I know. Our division is tough.

I agree with hating the week 4 bye. Im not sure why byes are even that early to begin with. Five of the last six in the division is brutal as well. Hard to pencil in W/L until August probably once the draft is done and preseason is done.

It's possible we are 3-0 and entering our bye, then onto Washington and I feel our D will knock RG3 out of the game again on Monday Night Football. We have the best MNF record in the league at .71.4% win rate.
It's hard to see who can beat us straight up, but wierd things happen in this game.

This schedule looks pretty tough and that early bye week kind of sucks but overall will be a very entertaining season of football. I love the fact I can eat turkey, have my dessert, take a nap and still wake up refreshed for Hawks/Niners on Thanksgiving night! All 3 Thanksgiving games should make for great football.

Packers open at Seattle to begin the NFL season, I figured that would be the matchup. Very tough test for Packers to start season again, should be a good game.

I was surprised both SF/Seattle games within 3 weeks... to me that is very lame. IMO all divisional rival games should have one early and one late game in season in case of injuries.

We ruined the story line of how great Manning and the Broncos Offense was. (After all, the only rules they create nowadays are to help the offense score.)

We got zona so we also got a bye before this game ;)

Yeah, you enjoy that bye against the Cardinals. I sure expect too. The Super bowl win sure makes some fans totally clueless. :L
