Thunder aren't blowing anyone out any time soon, even the Lakers. They will win their share of games though.
I'm hearing grumbling of an Enis Kanter for Blake Griffin trade. If that happens Okc would be the most athletic team in the league with Russ, Olodipo, and Griffin.
Westbrook is a man among men. Jordan even says there hasn't been a player as similar to him.
Westbrook is a man among men. Jordan even says there hasn't been a player as similar to him. That being said no one player can carry a team. Especially in today's NBA with players willing to be second or third on a team just to lighten their own load and make getting a ring easier. Who's the Thunder's second best player? Adams. A player that is still growing and learning.
The question isn't if Westbrook is the best PG in the NBA it's if he's the best player and one of the best PG's of all time. And no I'm not saying he is a top 5 PG at this point in his career.
Best current point guard? Definitely.
Best current player? Not as long as Lebron is still Lebron. I will say though, that if we're talking "pound for pound" like in boxing...a solid argument can be made.
One of the best point guards of all-time? He's definitely headed in that direction, but he's got a loooong way to go to be mentioned in the same breath as Magic.
Really enjoying these announcers for OKC.
They are the biggest homers on the planet but it's funny and entertaining at times.

To say it was the least impressive 50 point game you ever saw is kind of at odds with being the first triple double 50 point game in over 30 years. I get your point, but it's not like he was putting up shots just to get 50.
Let's just say hypothetically that Russ does his best Oscar impression and averages 35, 10 and 12 for like the next 5 years (won't happen), but OKC fails to upgrade the roster and never advances past the second round of the playoffs.
Where would that rank him all time?
Westbrook fucked around and got a triple double.
