and you know he would be better than Wash because?
Just curious

There isnt any history to prove he would be any better, but he damn sure can't be as bad as Wash. I had seen enough before that idiotic decision last night to send Frasor out for a third inning

Does the hitting coach get fired ?
All the coaches are qualified to do their job. Firing is not always the thing needed. Getting busy and working on approaches whether it be hitting, pitching or even game plans. I have seen no indication that much has been done other than changing up the batting order. I may be all wet but I do not believe the players on this team can no longer perform the way we are used to seeing.

I see you're back to blaming JD again after praising him for this acquisition a few days ago.... :L

Make up your mind. It's not JD's fault the team is collapsing in on itself. The talent is there. It's the managers job to get his players to perform.

I assumed when he went after Garza, he meant business and was going for it.

That's not how you run a franchise given the result of this franchise since Wash arrived.

Moreland .167 since the DL stint, that's pathetic and murphyesque

He's going for it but they've been hard for Garza for a few years now. I think they got him not just for this season but they'll give him a legitimate and good offer to stay.

And how do you know Maddux didn't have something to do with that?

I'm shocked Pettis didn't send Soto. I'll take the hit but I can't remember the last time I saw a line drive double in the gaps.

I believe that is exactly right.

If they decide to pay him, and we all know pitchers are at a premium, then it will be a good move.
If he doesn't get one bat, and we lose Berkman and Cruz this season, I'll assume that was the plan, to re-sign Garza at whatever price

That's not how you run a franchise given the result of this franchise since Wash arrived.

So you sit on your thumbs and say this team has had the best winning percentage under Wash, it must be him not the players on the winning teams. Then continue to watch the team lose games on poor in game decisions made by the manager. I'd rather not and see someone come in that will make the right moves, or at least the one that gives the team the best chance at winning
