No, it was dumb of JD to let go of prospects for a rental and not add a bat. Just miserable failure this year all around...but hey, if it gets Wash fired, everyone can celebrate.

I think JD was counting on getting in the play off's making is easier to sign Garza. That was a good gamble as for I'm concerned. We had almost no chance without pitching. The bats are there and need to come to life. Do agree we could use another good one.

could you imagine if soscia was this teams manager next season depending on how the angels finish? that would be weird, yet awesome!! although, he'll probably do his one year stint commentating with ESPN which apparently is in vogue immediately after leaving your previous team

I can't fathom any fan that would want to throw a season because they hate the coach so much, not talking about you.
But fans are starting to act like potential playoff teams just roll around each year, they don't.
