Rangers games and you guys. Only things that matter.

Only half-joking. The fans are what matter; I don't need Evan's take or Jamey's take or ESPN's take. Yes they're a source of info, but the sports media has a job to do, and they rarely tell us things we can't figure out ourselves.

As for the draft rankings, it's a crapshoot and doesn't really matter before the picks are made.

Well stated. Drafts and such does not mean much until each of our picks become Rangers if they ever do. ESPN for the most part is common knowledge to we who follow baseball.

I understand the fascination with the pre-draft rankings, but not every source puts in the same amount of effort, and in a year like this year, most of the picks seem to be relatively on par with each other so you never know what's going to happen.

Last year was fun because we all wanted Leiter, and we got him. This year I think there's 2, possibly 3 guys we'd be happy with.

There is so much about these guys we don't know until they make the big club. Odor comes to mind. He was a favorite of most and when we got him he just wasn't exactly what we thought he was. But yes we do still want what we want. Odor I do believe was the exception and not the rule.

I think if we brought Banister and Odor back now, the Rangers could really be something.
