Just don't make any calls. None of us seem to do that well.

Winning 2 of 3 from the Twins is an accomplishment for this team.

Now we have 6 of the next 11 against Oakland. That should be 4 wins . Most likely we will win 2 and lose 3 against Seattle and Miami in between the A's series. That puts us at 45-49 going into Seattle and LAA to finish the month. After those series our record is probably close to 48-53.

I wonder if that keeps the front office from going after a pitcher on the pretense of having him for next year as well, when they are actually hoping to contend this year. If they are really mainly concerned about next year they can wait for free agency this November. If they make a move at this deadline then we know they want to contend this year.

Basically we all need to stop making any reference to the possibility of any player potentially having a good performance
