Very frustrating series. Angels in it. They rebuilt their bullpen. Ohtani is going nowhere.
They made it clear they were going to screw the Rangers and they didF these dogshit umps…they were terrible the whole damn series
Bring him up!Speas throws 1.2 innings without allowing a walk or a hit. He struck out 3.
Final.Astros down 4-1 in the 10th.
His ERA is down to 0.76.Bring him up!
Exactly DT. Same thing with game 1 where we had a runner at 3rd with 1 out 2 innings in a row and if we score we win. One AB in particular was Jung where the pitcher threw either 5 or 6 pitches out of the strike zone and he swung at 3 of them and struck out. That will happen with youth so I don't want to jump all over him. Plus things have been going so well I knew a downturn would happen eventually. Good thing is we have some breathing room when it happened as we are still 4 up on Astros and 6 up on Angels in the loss column. Time to right the ship. You know what was worse than the umpires tonight?
Failure to score in bottom of the 9th with bases loaded and no outs.
If we had done our jobs, we would not have cared so much about the bad officiating.
Bottom line, we failed !! Put the responsibility were it belongs. Runs win games not excuses.
And Garcia has reverted back to previous years. He had shown restraint and discipline all season and then he has shown no discipline for the last week or longer. That last swing showed it bestExactly DT. Same thing with game 1 where we had a runner at 3rd with 1 out 2 innings in a row and if we score we win.
