The problem with that is that this Front Office traded Kyle Gibson, Ian Kennedy, and Hans Crouse for Spencer Howard, so I really can't trust them when it comes to trading.

Edit: although the Gallo trade also happened so maybe they always need to do two trades so everything evens out.

The two biggest international signing are in the DSL and they are on separate teams as the Rangers field two teams in the DSL. Anthony Gutierrez and Jose De Jesus.

So I thought it interesting that Jon Daniels said that basically Willie had run out of chances

I am thinking the same applies for Leody, Reks, Steele and even White. One of these guys at a minimum will be the 4th OF No guarantee any of them start. And we have others competing for a potential LF spot.

So it looks like the Rangers are now legitimately taking a look see at some of them at the MLB level

One thought is Smith at first glance is a bit more advances as I have not seen him fooled at the off speed stuff

I think he has excellent bat control, a high baseball IQ, and he is a hard worker. I expect really good things from him. He will never hit HRs like Duran, Foscue, Harris or Crim, but he will accomplish great things I think.
