Still the back he injured a few weeks ago. It seems Rangers players have the hardest time recovering from injuries.

If Eovaldi makes every start from now to seasons end, he will need to average about 5.1 innings to get to the number of innings he needs to vest his 2025 option. Finishing top 5 in Cy Young voting this year does it too. I doubt the latter is going to happen. If he misses a start or two along the way, he probably misses the required innings.
