Of course but the term being thrown out there was elite. I didn't see that in the Packers last night. As far as SB contenders go they have a chance...same as any team that makes it to the playoffs.

Green Bay supporters believed that Green Bay had fixed all of their problems on defense this off-season. They haven't. They are not a complete team.
They have a good chance at winning their division and getting a game at home in the playoffs. That alone, with some luck, and the possibility of getting hot at the right time might allow them to make some noise. But no, I don't think they are a realistic contender at a Super Bowl win this year.
