I think the Packers will be fine against most other teams. Dominant Ds are able to contain Rodgers and that's exactly what the Seahwaks have done. The Seahawks have started off exactly where they left off. I don't see anyone beating them for a while (and for sure not at home).

Lacey is a nice player its a shame he plays for a pass happy team. This boy can play.

Time for Rodgers to pad his stats.

I think Green Bay will be fine and win their division. This is more that Seattle is getting some bounces but ultimately better than last year (Harvin, maturing Wilson etc)

I don't think their D is as good. secondary isn't as shut down as last year. I don't know if its the new rules or enforce rules or its the players they lost. Overall still a good game so for by seattle.

Yeah, I get the same impression tonight.

Niners need to handle their business and endure these suspensions/injuries.

Other than this ongoing drive, the secondary appears to be it's blanketing self.

Like I said great job by seattle but something isn't the same with the D in my opinion. Again its only the 1st game.

Great drive by GB.

How great it would be if GB some how came back.

No more excuses for Roman. He needs to get this offense going this year.

With Raji out this game, I fear Seattle will have firm control on the game clock, force Rodgers and the Green Bay offense into one dimensional passing mode which plays right into Seattle's hands at home.

Nailed it.

If we have all out guys back from jail, I like our team against THIS Seattle team

Ha... Well said.

I'm confident in the 49ers. We are a system team on defense - Soapaga, Franklin, Goldson, probably Whitner next and some other players have not been as effective when leaving to a new team. The sentiment on the board is spot on: the future is now for Roman and the offense. No more red zone bullshit. No more third and short bullshit. No more inconsistency. This team has too much talent not yo control the clock and protect the defense. The defense has been bailing this team out for the last three years. Time for the offense to reach a new level.

Seattle's offense has looked way different with Harvin in there. He's going to cause some big issues for us if he stays healthy.
