Why not go 5 minutes of 4-on-4 and then another 5 minutes of 3-on-3 and then the coin flip if still tied? What's an extra three minutes?

That, and I'm not a big fan of the dry scrape break. Not sure how long that will take, but I don't like the delay.

Dubinsky has earned it and personifies what the Jackets are trying to be. Clear message to Johansen; look at him. THAT is how you get a long term deal. Show up every game and play your fucking ass off.

Dubinsky's deal was 4 years with a AAV of $4.2 million. He signed that after 2010-11 when he scored 54 points. Is Johansen being offered something similar? If he is, it's still too low. If he is being offered less, then he's right and it is indeed a slap in the face for a guy who just scored 63 points and was the best player on a playoff team.
