There's no real way of moving on from Sunday night. However, this is now day 3 "post-incident" and there's still too much season left to let it completely consume us. Unlike the other two big GB losses to Rodgers (2010 and 2013) this loss began our season. It didn't end it. We can at least put it aside for a bit...
At home on Monday Night, home opener... the team should be fired up for a variety of reasons (including being pissed off, I hope).
At the end of the day, if we can win this game and be sitting at 1-1 going into winnable matchups with Arizona/TB - I think we'd all have taken that a couple of weeks ago.
Outside of having a very good QB - I don't think Seattle matches up with us particularly well. They also will be without Doug Baldwin, whose a big difference maker with that offense. Their line struggles are well documented and I think we should be able to dominate the point of attack.
I also think Roquan gets more of a full-time gig this week and shadows Russell.
Defensively, the team simply isn't what it had been the past 5-6 years. Just surrendered 27 points and let up a 4th quarter lead to what should be sort of a middling Denver offense. Bennett, Chancellor, Sherman... these guys are all gone.
What will make all of us feel better more than anything is seeing Trubisky play a really good game. I think he has a shot at that.
Bottom line, I think Seattle is a one man show with their QB. A one dimensional team shouldn't beat us at home. We SHOULD find a way, IMO.
Bears 27
Seattle 16
