I think it’s great for everyone to play sports at a young age

Subsidizing it off the backs of men and still screaming bloody murder is peak entitlement and when I tell (royal) you to fuck wayyyyyyyyyy the hell off

Let the feminazis fund their own league

Oh wait….that would require taking accountability

Another reason why Clark’s and Paige bueckers comments were astronomically stupid

Subsidizing the WNBA is a good thing for the NBA.

And literally everyone who is able to advocate for a bigger pay check could and should do so.

This is nothing more than the players trying to capitalize on a relatively booming business (compared to what it was before CC).

Be mad if you want. But advocating for a better work situation is an American ideal. And if a man goes to his boss and asks for a raise when the company just had its best year ever, I doubt you would have any issue with that at all.

You’re making a completely dishonest comparison

It’s not even remotely intellectually honest

No business is getting subsidized for 25 years that cannot make a profit

And it happens at the college and hs level as well.

It breeds entitlement

Which your bad opinion also reinforce

The wnba players absolutely have said they should get paid like nba players

Brick wrs and Clark’s comments i referenced weren’t about that. Theirs were just pure stupidity and it only hurts the marketing for the league to have them sound like total Npc bimbos. That’s not how you grow the league

The womens soccer girls said they should get a piece of mens World Cup money…in what world does that make any logical sense??

So yeah, your take is just wildly off

No.

You are too black and white.

They aren’t 2 seperate businesses.

They are a joint venture. Success of one is good for the other.

The nba is not affected by the failure of the wnba

Just the owners checkbook for the last 25 years of

And investing in the WNBA provides good PR aside from just being the right thing to do.

2 things...

1. Pretty sure if the NBA didn't think investing in the WNBA was a good thing, they wouldn't have been doing it for 25 years.

2. Where has all of the outrage over the NBA subsidizing the WNBA been for the last 25 years? Now, when the league looks like it will finally be able to operate without NBA subsidies...people are outraged? Doesn't make a lot of sense to me.

How is it the right thing to do?

You could just donate it in high school, college or aau teams

You’d get a huge tax write off and still build basketball and nba fans

Why is it the “right thing to do”?

WNBA players want to be arrogant and act like they are so important then let’s see if the league can stand on its own.

Btw, the WNBA was created by the NBA which means it's the NBA's league...of course the NBA was going to subsidize it and do everything it could to make it successful.

Hilarious that folks are upset about this...especially after not complaining about it for the past 25 years. lol

I’d day their ignorant uneducated political stances that have been more prevalent have caused the issue to become magnified

Especially since it’s against the people who literally sign their paychecks
