You could have just said "No, I don't have less retarded strawmen".

You could just admit you’re wrong

If you don’t think they’re relavent then you just don’t have a clue about the conversation

I’d day their ignorant uneducated political stances that have been more prevalent have caused the issue to become magnified

Especially since it’s against the people who literally sign their paychecks

I'd say that you have no clue what you're talking about. Politics has fuck all to do with this.

They are doing the same thing NBA players did when Magic and Bird came into the league and when Magic got the NBA's first million dollar contract.

Were you complaining about "accountability" and "uneducated political stances" when that was happening?

Nope

You made an assertion that everything the business does is the right move

I pointed out meaningful counterpoints

And yet you call others "uneducated".

You should probably stfu and educate yourself then because this is nothing more than the same jealousy Magic and Bird were subjected to, including by their own teammates.

Your boys on the Celtics were all upset and jealous about the hype Bird was coming into the league with and were determined that they were going to show that he was overhyped and overrated.

The Lakers, in particular, Kareem...weren't any more welcoming to Magic than the Celtics were of Bird.

And those were their teammates. The rest of the league was worse.

Never seen anyone care this much about that league.

I loved watching the wnba for years because of what tlancr said before

It used to be fun to watch

Like the warriors level ball movement with a little more shot variety

So, now we've moved on to the "making shit up" part of you being wrong. I never said that. I said that the NBA created the WNBA and of course they were going to do everything they could to make it successful...I also said that if the NBA wasn't willing to subsidize the WNBA, they wouldn't have been doing it. I never said it was the right move or that everything a business does is the right move.

@tlance said "it was the right thing to do"...I didn't even go that far.

Considering that it now looks like the WNBA will be profitable, it looks like the NBA's patience has paid off.

Never watched a full game. Although this season for the first time I did watch some WNBA. Indiana Fever to see Clark.

I may not watch much but I want that league to be successful on their own. It's a good thing.

How is it the right thing to do?

You could just donate it in high school, college or aau teams

You’d get a huge tax write off and still build basketball and nba fans

How is it the right thing to do?

Creating a US pro league that allows our best female players to play professionally in their own country which also happens to be the home of basketball?

It would be wrong to not have a competitive women’s pro league in this country.

And if it requires the NBA to kick it a few bucks to keep it going, so be it.

It's the complaining about Caitlyn Clark that is the reason this thread was created. No one gave a shit about the WNBA until then which is why no one was complaining about the NBA subsidizing the WNBA until now.

How soon before an NBA all star team vs. the WNBA in stuff like shooting & skills?

Kind of happened last year. <--

But I do think that would be good for both leagues.

As soon as I read your comment I remembered, I think. The 3-point contest?

Imagine if the league actually embraced Caitlin Clark instead of trying to kick her out of the league
