as far as the #1 pick. you have to see what trade options are out there and compare it to the talent. It appears to be a pretty weak draft class. The cards would be good if someone just blew it away at the combine and got an amazing trade package for that #1

If there isn't a big QB prospect in draft, seems hard to find teams willing to give up much to move up. Reminds me of the year SF drafted Alex Smith. They really tried trading down #1 pick but didn't any good offers.

The only thing you can argue about is him going #1 BECAUSE of the injuries. He got doubled on a lot of plays. In comparison, here is Joey Bosa's numbers and I would say he is pretty damn good when he is on the field.

Seriously....I have no fucking idea how you are trying to respond to the post in question. That Watt wasn't deserved of the top pick in his draft, knowing what we know now? That defensive players, no matter how much they've dominated in the pros...they don't deserve to be top 10 picks?

The post/link showed that stats aren't everything....especially when translating to the pros......and this is your counter?

Sure, he can be disruptive when on the field, but I do not see him as elite. The man-crush with this guy is mind boggling.

2017 he wasn't even the best on his own team ( that was Ward ) and there were 3-4 other guys id have had ahead of him as well ( I believe Jewell won DPOY ) . 2016 he didn't do much so there's a laundry list of guys who were better . He may have ended up being the best this year but he only played 3 games so we will never know. The draft process is long so he will have plenty of opportunity to show his stuff but it's tough for me to pick a guy at 1 based on 1 decent year in college .

Exactly the opposite. When it comes to Bosa, they talk of hand placement, variety of pass rush moves, unlimited motor.

I'd love to see your source on Bosa though.....everybody else has him locked in at this point.
