A simple Google search is all you need.
I'm not saying Kobe is the GOAT, that belongs to Jordan, I'm saying Kobe is better than Lebron.
It's actually up to you to provide proof of your claim. It's odd I have to even explain this.

How does debate work when all you do is make a claim, and when someone asks you to prove it, you just say "Hey, just google it".

LOL

Jordan is the goat. Kobe played in a giant pussy league where the arm bar and any form of physical contact was not allowed.

It's too bad that Kobe died in a helicopter and I feel bad for the guy and his family, but putting him on the same level as Jordan is fuckin' insane.

Jordan was the only undefendable player in NBA history.. and fuck off to anyone putting LeFlop in that category.. that bitch was the definition of traveling. LaTravel.. if James has any respect he should change his name to that.
Clearly you weren't alive during the Jordan era. He was the first player allowed to break the traveling rules. he was the NBA/ESPN/Nike's golden boy. He could take extra steps, you weren't allowed to touch him in the 90's or he'd go to the line... he whined and moaned to refs the whole game, he was soft and not only got dominated by the Pistons but then left the game and retired twice. What kind of dedication is that? What did he need, a vacation?

You're reciting mythology and propaganda. He's clearly among the greatest of all time, but there's glaring holes in any claim that MJ is the GOAT.. and the narratives that people try to portray are incorrect.

I do understand last second plays are called during a Timeout, great players want the ball. Bird wanted the ball and would even tell the other team the play.

When it got tough LeBron pulled into his shell.
Interesting claim... what reason or evidence do you have to back that up?

Can't respond to MJ and Kobe passing the ball in clutch moments...

So now we're moving the goalposts with old man Larry Bird stories.

Larry Bird would also pass in those situations if a teammate had a better shot. He was once asked how many points per game could he have averaged if he just concentrated on scoring. He said probably 40-45 but he thought the goal was to win the game.

You should quit while you're behind. But I certainly won't stop you from kicking your own ass.

You clearly haven't got the first clue about last second plays. Players like Lebron and Magic want the ball just as badly as players like MJ and Kobe...the difference is that they want the ball to get it to the guy with the best chance to score. If that's them, great...if it's a teammate...that's great as well.

Great players want to win. Great players with high basketball i.q.'s know that the best way to win is to get the ball to the guy with the best chance to score.
You missed to point completely. LeBron is afraid of failure.

I'd go with KAJ personally. The NBA was less apt to give star calls in that era, so star talent was more apt to shine imo...
Kareem was a beast, for sure… just for fun, my starting five …
1. Magic.. Point
2. Jordan .. 2 guard
3. Larry Bird … Small forward
4. Tim Duncan … Power Forward
5. Kareem … Center

Shaq a close 2nd at center, he was a beast in his prime …

WRONG, I proved Kobe wasn’t afraid to take that shot.
What good does an unfearful shot do if it doesn't go in? LMAO. Are you serious?

Hey guys, I'm the GOAT because I'll ALWAYS jack up a shot at the end of the game. I'm 0-34... but guys, I'm NOT AFRAID TO SHOOT. I'm the GOAT!

Just using your logic. You said if someone has the balls to take the last shot, they are the GOAT. It's about confidence. They want the ball, so they're the goat.

If you need to correct yourself, do so.

The average height of centers in 1960 was 6'10" and it went up throughout the decade. Russell was 6'10", and played from the 1957 to 1969. Oh my, he was 1" over the average center for a year or two in his first few years? Let's just be real. It's safe to say your claim was wrong. You tried to claim Russell was a giant who had multiple inches on everyone else. That's not true. Just own up to it and admit your attempted narrative was incorrect, and we can move along.

Lol your own link proved my point dude. He isn't competing against one center for a rebound he is competing against the entire team. Massive difference in length teams can throw at guys now or even in the 90s than then.

And again, his field goal pct is Ben Wallace bad. He is literally Ben Wallace set 40 plus years earlier, playing on a stacked team with 8 to 10 teams at most playing.

He is a champ, for sure. But most overrated individual player in the history of sports
