It seems like a lot IMO to give up for Polanco, mostly meaning the 3rd best bullpen arm and top 100 prospect. But it is fair to make it a cash neutral deal. Won’t happen but they still do have money to sign either Snell or Bellinger. Snell allows Woo to either move to the pen or start in the minors with Hancock, or if they got Bellinger this offense is superior to last years.

Really shocked they couldn’t have tossed Moore/Haggerty and Hancock and get Kepler too

Kepler seems logical..
To San Diego at this point.

And after..there RF to Yankees..

Said earlier the #MNTwins were getting a good chunk of cash in the deal to pay part of Anthony DeSclafani's $12m salary.

reports Twins getting $6m SF sent to Seattle in first trade plus additional cash.

Isn’t the difference only 500k? Polanco was 10.5 I thought, plus Topa’s 750k. I guess depending on how much money, figured Gonzalez was tossed in to make sure Seattle didn’t have to send any real money.

Isn't it 54%? Looks to me like they only need upgrades at DH, 1B, 2B, 3B, LF and 1/2 a season in RF to really put a contender out there.

Twins cheaper than Mariners. Not many teams get Mariners to thrown in millions. All this for a past his prime 2B. Third time is a charm I guess for this position.
