I still don’t understand why they can’t just go in the normal MLB draft and make it fair since Americans can’t go before their would be senior year. Either add them together or do an international draft around MLB draft time instead of this international pool stuff.

Kelenic had a total of 3 months where he looked anything approaching good. Why do people put so much stock in what he says (I mean outside of Sea)? I'm glad we didn't sign him to any type of extension. Far be it from me to defend Dipshito, but Kelenic is a fucking nobody.

He is a nobody, but it is always nice to hear the thinking of players on the inside. Regardless of talent, feelings and emotion amongst the players matters. I go back to the Graveman trade. It was never about the loss of talent, it was always about the emotions of the locker room. When Kelenic echos what Seager said about the boss never talking to the players, it matters. I just don't that guy.

This is where the whole myth of Moneyball erks me and all of the fake stuff that is in the movie. The owner hires the President of baseball ops to take arrows for the owner, the President of baseball ops hires the GM to take arrows for baseball ops and owners and the GM hires the manager to take the arrows for all of them. A big issue we currently have is Jerry shouldn’t be doing any interviews. It needs to be the owner doing the interviews like some franchises do, or have the manager bringing the primary interviewer which other teams do.

Plus did you hear his 54% press conference, IMO it is a good thing that he isn’t talking to all the players. Evidently the pitching staff thinks Babe Ruth is fake so can only imagine they’d think Jerry is a hologram if he talks to them.
