Lincoln vs Omaha

Which city is better? Which do you prefer? Looking for those who have lived in both or spend a lot of time in each.

Honestly I'd say Lincoln.... But there is more to do in Omaha. Omaha is smelly and more run down. But shiiiit let's get a random thread non sports related going.

Never lived in Lincoln but I have spent time there when my daughter did. It is harder to get around in than Omaha is. Having no bypass interstate systems to utilize can turn what would be a 15 minute trip in Omaha into two hours in Lincoln with traffic and such. Other than that they seem pretty similar to me.

Not sure why all you keep saying Omaha is crappy. What, you only go to North or South O? West Omaha/Millard is nice.

I could live in either. Most of my family lives in Omaha and we've/I've spent lots of time in Lincoln. I like college towns so I would give a slight advantage to Lincoln.

Lincoln is my pick. A lot more of a family town. Laid back and calm, except on football Sat.
