You fell victim to one of the classic blunders.
Most of them really.Still waiting for someone in this thread to name me a QB that was "ruined" by coaches.
It's apparently really common.
Each year about 10 QB are drafted in the NFL. Scouting reports highlight their strengths and weaknesses. Talent and strengths only gets them so far. If the weaknesses are not fixed they will not make it in the NFL.
Admitedly, you will probably never see in print that a coach or staff "ruined" a QB. But if their job is to train and fix the weaknesses to make the QB successful in the NFL, the trail of unsuccessful QB is a long list.
If jumping to the NFL did not make them better, or as good as they were in college, than what can we conclude except they were made worse or ruined in the NFL?
