lol, are you being serious?

"in the rotation"

dude cmon- the VAST majority of relevant games he has had is in garbage time against teams like the Knicks- and even with the amt. of laughers the Warriors play his contribution are still, what? 3-1-1? lol.

3-1-1...I was wrong. LOL...dude, you have GOT to be fucking kidding me.

How do you know he is playing garbage time? You only watch Cavs basketball

For the record and to @tlance point, McCaw was getting steady minutes and was clearly a part of the rotation until the last week or 2

getting your minutes cut by Ian Clark and JaVale McGee is just something a budding all star has to deal with...

and David West? COOKED- again, just like i said.

He's a rookie in his 2nd month in the league. Do you know what Jimmy Butler was doing in his 2nd month in the league? He barely played and look where he's at now.

How is he getting minutes cut by Javale McGee? McCaw is a center now?

As for David West, based on everything I read from Warriors writers is that the Warriors defense is so much better when he's on the court. His offense is cooked but they don't need his offense. He is still out there being the good defensive player he always been.

exactly

i love the nebulous claims of defense from both you guys on West and McCaw...lol...nothing else to support- so THEY PLAY GOOD D- again with no backup from a rookie and a guy that was cooked last year.

Wait so let me get this straight. You really thought they brought David West in for his offense? Wow

Warriors don't need more offense. They have more than enough. Having role players who can improve your team defense is what will be important in May and June

no- they brought in David West to be their 10th-11th guy and to play in blowouts and when they need him for 10 minutes here and there- just like the Cavs with Chris Anderson. Neither him or McCaw will play anything close to real minutes in real games when they count....they are both back of the rotation scrubs at this point like James Jones or Chris Anderson or Kay Felder with the Cavs.

Comparing West to Birdman is a terrible comparison. Birdman only plays in blowouts or if someone is hurt. West on the other hand is clearly a part of the Warriors rotation and is their best defensive big

As for McCaw I don't know if he will play in the playoffs. It will come down to him or Clark. Considering McCaw is only in his 2nd NBA month. Its safe to assume he will be a different player (better I assume) in March and April. Barbosa is done so yes one of them will be getting 10-15 MPG in the playoffs.

What's your point? Almost all of their bench players play the same amount of minutes. The only one who gets a ton of minutes is Livingston who plays about 18 MPG. The other bench players (who play frequently) are getting between 8-14 MPG. This isn't a team where you see a few bench players getting 20+ MPG

LOL at Wiggster.

Dude TLance just said he would be a part of the rotation. And guess what, he is. McCaw is by no means a budding superstar at this point, but he's shown that despite being a second round pick, he's worth of early playing time.

What you fail to realize about McCaw is he was drafted as a defensive specialist. He's 6'7" with great instincts on and off the ball. His ball handling and passing is what allows him to get early playing time, but overall his offense is a work in progress.

Kerr basically alternates between Ian Clark and McCaw now based on what is needed with the second unit. If scoring is needed at the time, he'll put in Clark. If defense and passing is needed, he'll put in McCaw. It's that simple.

McCaw provides a reliable player, who can be trusted in meaningful games and minutes and produce. That's it. That's like saying Dunleavy is totally worthless to your team because he's only averaging 5, 1.9 and 0.9 off the bench. We both know his role is much more valuable than his numbers suggest. But no one here is cherry picking that because we actually understand how the game works.

Dunleavy has been totally worthless thus far and he only plays when Lue goes deep into his bench or during a blowout.

its 3-1-1 on 12 minutes a night. WTF is going on here.

that was exactly why I pointed out that the most popular people out there(my examples) you could go either way with. hell, I could've even threw in Adolph Hitler if I REALLY wanted to go off on a tangent. history said that a LOT of the American public actually didn't have an issue about how he ran things back in the beginning of his dictatorship...

like I said, popularity does NOT equal "love". but he can keep trying to sell it if he likes. the responses are funny at least...

Not sure about that, the US practiced isolationism after WW1. They more than likely just didn't care at the start. WW1 had only been over for around 20 years, a war that was viewed as a bloody stalemate where no one won. The US didn't want to get involved in another great war but after Hitler caught the French off guard and began to look like a true threat; that's when the US got involved.

Had the US been aware of Germany's mistreatment of the Jewish people from the very beginning, the US would have entered the war much earlier.

What does stats have to do with the Warriors preferring to use McCaw over Clark when it comes to defensive reasons? Stats don't tell you everything especially when it comes to defense.

Who said McCaw would put up some great numbers? Point is he has been in the rotation for the first month and a half.

Nobody said that.

It is amazing that wiggy will come back to run your face in it if you ever make an incorrect prediction that opposes his view.

What is even more amazing though, is that he does exactly the same thing when he is wrong! But he tries to twist things around like he was right the whole time. The conversation was about whether or not McCaw would be in the REGULAR SEASON rotation as a rookie. He is. Case closed.

A rotation player is a guy who is in the rotation.

I stated he should have been used in game 1 for his DEFENSE. You called me delusional. Nobody ever said he would post offensive numbers, in fact, I even think Sushi said that he wouldn't post offensive stats.

Time to face facts. You are dead wrong and everyone here knows it. Now let's see if you can make this thread go another 70 pages spewing BS.

I think you're arguing just to argue....again. I remember a few times when you've said you'd be the first to admit when you're wrong. I'm calling bull shit on that one.
