I think Zimmer's scheme is outdated as well. Just clean house. What have we got to lose??

He was never a good head coach, we tried to tell Boys fans this but of course you were represented by @Guns and Guitars and he was not known as being able to listen to facts or reason.

While coaching is obviously an issue you can't put so much cap space into a QB like Dak and then give your WR a ton of money and not have it affect the rest of the roster. This team isn't all that good and McCarthy makes them worse.

And you guys haven't been good for 20 years.

The Saints fired coach Dennis Allen after losing their seventh straight game Sunday to fall to 2-7 on the season.

I got a hunch Jerry wants a guy like Belichick. Just think of the media attention if Jerry announced Belichick as the hire right before the Super Bowl?

I think this season is the way this season is gonna be.
Really is no need to fire a coach mid season unless you think you have his replacement in the building.
We do not.
So Big Mac will finish the season, we will continue our downward spiral, minus the occasional inspiring game which will make no sense.

After the season. Big Mac will be gone & so will most others would be my guest.
Could be a very interesting off season. Or a very scary one.

but I think there is no way we have any coaching changes during this season.

We won’t change coaches during the season because Jerry has for reasons only known to himself come out multiple times to tell everyone that, even when no one even asked. Personally I see no reason to move on from McCarthy mid year for a lot of reasons including some of the ones you mentioned.

at year end we clean house and there isn’t one coach that I’d be upset to hear we let go.

He's lost this team. The leaders have spoken loud and clear. I'd fire him for giving Fassel so much say in games, but that's just me.

I'd also find a better oline coach than whats been shown from Mike Solari.

onĺy problem is Jerry could easily replace Fat Boy with Bones Fassel. Al Harris should be the guy.

Honestly, who the head coach is matters very little as long as Jerry is constantly meddling and preventing the coach from really calling the shots.
Jimmy Johnson would have failed had he been saddled with THIS version of Jerry in the 90s.
